List of organisations, individuals and resources of relevance to the flamenco world

  • Sólo Compás

solocompas In my view still the best CDs around for learning the fundamentals of the various flamenco forms. You get the basic compás with guitar, guitar and song, and just with percussion, with a good range of speeds to help beginners in particular. My only real gripe is that you have to buy a separate CD for each form which can eventually become expensive. CDs in the Sólo Compás series are available from specialist websites including  esflamenco.com
